John K. Kim, MD
For 30 years, Dr. John K. Kim has practiced internal medicine on a simple belief: patients do better when they truly understand their care. He earned his MD at the University of Virginia School of Medicine after studying at Johns Hopkins University, and completed his internal medicine residency at Franklin Square Medical Center. Today he leads both Nova and Sun Medical Centers, treating everything from annual physicals to diabetes, heart disease, memory concerns, and depression. He listens first, explains every result in plain words, in English or Korean, and works with you on a plan you can actually follow.

Yeo Lim Kim, APRN, FNP-BC
A board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC), Yeo Lim Kim returns to our team already knowing our patients and the way we practice. At our Fairfax clinic she sees adults for primary care, same-day sick visits, and follow-ups, working hand in hand with Dr. Kim so your care stays consistent from one visit to the next.

Agnes Y. Jo earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University and is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Since 2019 she has practiced primary care in New York and Northern Virginia, most recently at VHC Health in Arlington, caring for adults of every age from preventive screenings to chronic illness. Thorough and organized, she coordinates closely with specialists so nothing falls through the cracks. She also sees patients in Spanish.

What is a Medicare Annual Wellness Visit?
It is a yearly visit, separate from a sick visit, where we review your health history and medications, check memory and mood, update screenings and vaccines, and write a personal prevention plan. Medicare Part B usually covers it with no cost to you. Call either clinic to schedule yours.
Can I see a nurse practitioner instead of the doctor?
Yes. Our nurse practitioners handle most primary care, follow-up, and sick visits and work closely with Dr. Kim. NP appointments are often available sooner.
Is CCM or RPM right for me?
If you live with two or more ongoing conditions, or with high blood pressure or diabetes that benefits from daily readings, ask your provider at your next visit.
Does insurance cover IV therapy?
No. Wellness IV infusions and aesthetic treatments at Nova Skin Lab are self-pay. Medical visits at our clinics are billed to your insurance as usual.
